Marion B.  Cerri
Marion B. Cerri, 83, of Windsor Locks, CT entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the Suffield House. Marion was born January 30, 1933, in Hartford, CT and was the daughter of Italian immigrants the late Frank and Teresa (Camussoni) Cerri. She was employed by the State of CT Department of Motor Vehicle from which she retired after 40 years. Marion was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary Church. She had lived in Windsor Locks for many years and later South Glastonbury returning to Windsor Locks in 1998. Marion loved going out to lunch and most of all sitting on her front porch. She was a totally devoted sister, daughter and friend. She was a very caring person and will always be remembered with love and affection by those who were fortunate enough to have made her acquaintance. Heaven has indeed acquired a very special angel. She is survived by her loving friend and longtime caregiver, Donna Stull and her family; her cat, Molly. In addition to her parents, Marion, was also predeceased by two sisters, Marina and Josephine Cerri. Friends are welcome for visitation on Monday, May 9, 2016, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral procession will form at 10:30 am for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 am at St. Mary Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Suffield House Residents' Council, 1 Canal Rd., Suffield, CT 06078.
