Thomas J.  Fitzpatrick
Thomas J. Fitzpatrick, 31, of Enfield, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at home. Born in Springfield, MA on April 28, 1985. He grew up in Somers and graduated Somers High School, he received his bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut at Storrs. Tom was employed by his brother. He just started enjoying reading, hiking, camping, and working out again. He loved spending time with his dog. He was finishing up his last class for his Master's Degree at Springfield college in the field of Psychology. Thomas was the kindest, most gentle, caring person. He was the type of person that could talk to you and make you smile. He struggled through the last years of his life, but was working through all his heartaches to try to complete his goals. He will be truly missed by all his family and friends. He leaves his mother, Karen Garvey and her husband, Brian of Suffield, his brother, Jason Fitzpatrick of Enfield; maternal grandparents, Joan and James Botellio of Somers; paternal grandparents, Betty Fitzpatrick of Enfield and David Fitzpatrick of Vernon; aunts and uncles, Joseph Tolisano and his wife, Joanne Botellio Tolisano, Steven and Teri Botellio, David and Debbie Fitzpatrick; special uncle, Armand Boucher, cousins, Tyler, Christopher and Michael Tolisano, Kyle King; a Godfather, Martin McGuane and beloved friend, Samantha Rush and beloved dog, Max. He was predeceased by his father, John Fitzpatrick and an uncle, James Botellio.
His family will receive friends on Thursday, May 12 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. A memorial service in celebration of Tom's life will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 383 Hazard Avenue, Enfield. Burial will follow at Somers Center Cemetery.
