Obituary for Peggy D. H. Lee (Davis)

Peggy D.H. Lee, 89, of Granby, CT wife of the late Alton Eli Lee entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, November 25, 2016, at Meadowbrook of Granby. Peggy was born March 29, 1927, in Springfield, MA the daughter of the late Clarence and Florence (Trainor) Davis. Peggy lived in Granby for many years prior to moving to Enfield in 1974. She was a member of the Enfield Senior Citizens and a member of the University of Third Age (UTA) at Asnuntuck Community College. Peggy was employed for several years as a bookkeeper. She was employed for 10 years with Allen Manufacturing in Bloomfield as a cost clerk and later as Head Bookkeeper for the Non-Woven Division of C.H. Dexter in Windsor Locks for 9 years. Peggy was an accomplished artist and acrylic painter. She is survived by a son, David Arthur Hillard and his wife, Kathy of Enfield; three daughters, Dianne Hillard Koprowski and her husband, Edward of W. Hartford, Allison Lee McLaughlin and her husband, Thomas of Enfield and Sally Lee Lepage and her husband, Robert of Holyoke, MA; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Peggy was predeceased by a step-daughter, Linda Lee Hanks. Relatives and friends may join the family for calling hours on Monday, November 28, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, CT. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in Peggy's memory may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, www.arthritis.org.
