Obituary for Howard E. Reynolds

Howard E. Reynolds, 75, lifelong resident of Enfield, beloved husband of 47 years to Susanne (LaBranche) Reynolds, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2016, at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 3, 1941, in Suffield, CT; son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Parker) Reynolds. Howard proudly served in the United States Army. He enjoyed golfing, spending time with family, and watching his grandkids play soccer. In addition to his wife Susanne, he is survived by two sons, Mike Reynolds and his wife Andrea of Keene, NH and David Reynolds and his wife Margaret of Enfield, CT; three grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan and Victoria Reynolds; two brothers, Edward Reynolds, and Alan Reynolds; four sisters, Barbara Gonyea, Nancy Marcil, Donna Raffia, Joann Suzor, and many nieces and nephews. Howard was predeceased by three brothers, Richard Reynolds, Joseph Reynolds, and Norman Reynolds, and a sister Maxine Krasinski. Relatives and friends may join the family for calling hours on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, CT. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hazardville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr, Wallingford, CT 06492.
